Harper

My story

Harper was one of our recent additions from our local shelter. She was said to be found as a stray but she definitely knows her way around a leash so we're thinking that at one time she was an owned girl. She is estimated to be between 5-6 years old and a girl who enjoys all the little things in life. Things we have noticed about Harper so far: - She is getting the hang of potty training but this seems to be more of her adjusting to a new routine/environment rather than not being potty trained so patience during her transition will help her catch on fast. - She does well in her crate, the only time she lets out a little bark is when she is excited after a day of work and she knows it's time to spend time in the yard. Her bark, well, she sounds a little bit like she was a chain smoker in her past life however it doesn't last long. She is comfortable being crated while you're away or even doing a nice clean. - She is super dog friendly and meets friends easily. She so far is more of a share space kind of dog rather than a playful dog. We're unsure if that is because she is still getting comfy or if that is just her personality. Harper is being fostered in Chicago and is available for adoption within 3 hours of Chicago. If you are interested in being her forever home please apply directly.
