My story

Meet Obi Luca! 🐾 Obi Luca is a 3-year-old, 48-pound Bearded Collie/Shepherd mix who came to us as a stray — and now he’s ready to find his forever home! This handsome boy is full of love, brains, and just the right amount of playful energy. Obi Luca is very smart, well-behaved, and already knows several commands. He loves to learn and thrives when given structure and direction. He’s housetrained and making great progress with his leash skills, though he can get overly stimulated on walks and may show some leash or barrier reactivity. That said, he does great with other dogs in off-leash environments, so we believe it's more about the setting than the socialization. He absolutely loves playing, running around, and sprawling out in the yard — which is why he'd do best in a home with a large, secure outdoor space where he can enjoy his freedom without needing daily walks. Obi Luca is incredibly affectionate, loves being around people, and gets along well with other dogs. With a little patience and a lot of love, he’ll be a loyal, fun, and easygoing companion. If you're looking for a smart, friendly, and energetic dog who’s just as happy chasing toys as he is lounging in the sun, Obi Luca might be the one for you! 💙🐾 Adoption fee is: $400 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022
