My story

Star is a beautiful girl whose personality shines just as brightly as her name suggests. With a sleek, gleaming coat that sparkles like the night sky, she turns heads wherever she goes. But it’s her warm heart and playful spirit that truly make her a standout companion. She’s always interested in what her people are doing and enjoys being involved in daily activities. Star is a loving, snuggly companion who enjoys both playtime and cuddle time. She’s always up for an adventure or just a cozy nap next to her favorite human. Star walks well on a leash. She gets along with other dogs and would love a canine companion in her forever home. While she does chase cats, it’s more out of playful curiosity than aggression. Whether it’s playing in the yard, going for walks, or curling up on the couch, Star is always ready to bring happiness and love to those around her. Star is about 4 years old and 38 pounds. Please help Star find the loving home she deserves. We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes. Please email 1-2 days before the event, as some animals are placed during the week and our list is constantly changing.
