My story

T-Kitty is a sweet, beautiful, friendly 2 year old fluffball who is ready for her forever home safe inside after being outside and feral her whole life. Her gorgeous long coat was badly matted from this past winter so she currently is sporting a "lion clip" while it grows out. It is steadily growing back, and will be super soft and fluffy soon enough! Brushing is essential for long hair cats like T-Kitty. Thankfully, it is one of her favorite activities! T-Kitty had 4 adorable kittens in 2024 (all adopted through IAR) and was a very good mama - she even nursed 2 kittens rescued from her colony who were not hers! Now, after this past cold winter outside, she is finally ready for a cushy indoor lifestyle. She is very polite and kind despite not being super snuggly or cuddly with her favorite humans. When T-Kitty is really happy, she likes to do small "marching steps" in place on the floor and nudge whatever she can reach. She has even started chirping and meowing at her foster parents — something feral cats are definitely not known to do around people! She is used to being around other cats and gets along well with them. Her foster parents think another cat in the home would really help teach her valuable indoor cat skills she hasn't gotten the chance to learn yet. She is a very small adult cat despite her long fluff! She still really appreciates her little nooks to hide behind, and feels safest if she has her own crate or comfy box to nest in. For being a formerly feral outside girl, she has wonderful inside manners, but still needs an understanding human to be patient with her as she continues to figure out life as an indoor kitty. T-Kitty is a bit shy at first, but comes around quickly with bribes of Churu treats and lots of pets and brush sessions! Daily Churu treats have been extremely helpful in gaining her trust and helping her feel loved and well taken care of. If you're looking for a wonderful little fluffball to fill your home with positivity and love for many years to come, please consider giving sweet T-Kitty her forever home!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt T-Kitty, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
