Kyo

My story

A26633 Kyo is a brown with some white colored, approximately 1 and a half-year-old, 73-pound, neutered male, Pitbull. He entered the shelter as a stray on 03-28-2025 and was altered by our medical staff. Kyo is a friendly, eager and excited boy here at the shelter. He is full of energy and barks at everything going by his kennel. Very excited when you approach his kennel and will try and bull rush past you to get out for a walk. Our staff describes him as super friendly, eager to see people and get love and attention. He needs work on his manners but loves people. He was a little difficult to leash because he was so excited and he is a big boy who pulls hard with determination to go where he wants to go. He has had some training and will “sit” and “shake” upon command. He is going to need an active family that will give him plenty of attention and exercise. We would recommend a home with no small children, not because he is mean, but because he is so big and strong and loves everyone, he does jump up on people for affection. This may scare young children. He came in with and is house with another dog. But we do recommend a meet and greet if you have another dog. Kyo will be a fun-loving family member in his new forever home.
