Nimbus

My story

A26901 Nimbus is a brown tabby colored, approximately 2-year-old, 8-pound, neutered male, Domestic Long-Haired cat. He entered the shelter as a stray on 04-08-2025 and was altered by our medical staff. Nimbus is a friendly, but timid and shy boy here at the shelter. He is still trying to adjust to this loud shelter environment and figure out why he is here. Our staff says he hides behind his litterbox most of the time, looking for that safe space. He may flatten his ears back when you open the kennel door, but it is just because he is scared. He enjoys head scratches and will cling to you when you pick him up. In the playroom he picked a safe cubby to hide in and watch the room from. He would do best in a home with no small children, as he is still pretty scared here and they may not understand. But a patient owner will find a great companion to binge watch TV or hang out with to read a book. Nimbus will be a loving companion in his new forever home.
