My story

Sassy is a 5 year old, overweight beagle mix! She is very curious but also stubborn, so she needs a home with a fenced in yard so she can enjoy the outdoors without being confined to a leash. She is good on leash, she wants to stop and sniff and wander on her merry little way! She is house trained and crate trained. Prior to Sassy coming to us, she lived primarily outdoors and hasn't known how to be an indoor pet. Although, she is making herself quite comfortable on the couch now and has transitioned well into being indoors. Sassy is not a fan of new dogs being up in her face, she prefers to have a bubble and space until she feels comfortable enough to play. Sassy is fine with children ages 8 and up. Sassy can be fearful of men but warms up quickly. She loves car rides!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Sassy, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
