My story

Meet Sweetie, the sweet and gentle German shepherd mix. Sweetie is a lovable German Shepherd mix who has overcome a rough start and is now ready to find her forever home. Found as a stray at a park in Fresno, Sweetie endured a week of harsh weather—rain and hail—before being rescued by a kind-hearted person and their resident dog. Since then, Sweetie has blossomed into a friendly, gentle, and well-behaved companion. Though a little timid at first with both people and other dogs, Sweetie warms up quickly and soon shows her sweet, affectionate nature. She’s been a perfect guest in her foster home, where she’s demonstrated her intelligence and good manners. Sweetie is house-trained, doesn’t chew, and is not destructive. She enjoys laying quietly by her foster mom, who works from home, and is content to relax by her side. Sweetie is an alert dog and will let you know if something's going on, but her alarm barking is appropriate and not excessive. While she may howl a few times when left alone, she soon settles down. She’s also an excellent walker, does not pull on the leash, and always comes when called. Plus, Sweetie is cat-friendly, making her an ideal match for households with feline companions. This sweet girl is ready to join a loving family and would fit perfectly into many homes.
