My story

She is a 4-year-old, 58lb, black and white mix of Retriever, Labrador and hound. She has impeccable manners in the house and is very gentle on the leash. Her foster family reports that this previous momma of puppies, all of which were rescued from living in the woods, has transitioned to living in a home flawlessly with no bathroom accidents whatsoever. If she needs to “go” she will sit quietly by the door. She has been very respectful of all items in the house and most of the time is quite content to hang out on a dog bed that she has claimed to be her favorite spot. She has a great appetite and having added about 15% since her rescue, is getting to a nice healthy weight. She walks quietly by your side with a slack leash and is not fazed by traffic noise including louder vehicles like school buses and trash trucks. Kailey is shy with people she doesn’t know and is calm but curious when meeting other dogs. While she has likely never had any training, she quickly learned with her foster family that a “wait” command at a road crossing means stop and look at the human walker. Kailey has successfully gone through her spaying and is now waiting for her forever home where she can be your loving companion.
