My story

Morton is a sweet, laid-back cat who would love nothing more than to be your snuggly best friend. He’s known for his adorable habit of standing on his hind legs to take treats gently from your hand and has become more playful as he’s settled into his foster home. Morton enjoys being near his people and would make a wonderful companion. Morton does have a bite history that occurred earlier this year, which was believed to be related to discomfort from residual frostbite. Since healing in April, he has not had any further incidents and has continued to thrive in his foster environment. Because of this history, we’re recommending a home without other cats and with no children under the age of 16. Any potential adopter will be asked to have a conversation with our executive director before scheduling a meet and greet, just to ensure the best possible fit for Morton.
