My story

How ridiculously cute is Josie?! (Answer: The cutest.) Josie is still just a little pup, but don’t let that fool you — this girl’s got brains and beauty. She’s a total smarty pants who already knows all the important stuff: sit, down, come, out (like, "get out of the kitchen, silly!"), and crate! She even listens to “no”... though, like any mischievous toddler, she sometimes chooses selective hearing. Josie is crate trained and will settle down like a pro in a calm, quiet house — especially if there’s a treat involved. Toss a few goodies into her crate, say the magic word ("crate!"), and poof — she’s in! She’s a full-on zoomie machine when her favorite people come home, wiggling and bouncing with excitement! Josie loves to play with other dogs and is still learning the finer points of polite puppy manners — sometimes she’s a little extra, but she’s getting there! She adores her foster human siblings and loves to hang out nearby when they’re doing homework (study buddy, anyone?). Josie would thrive in a home with other dogs and people of all ages. She’s an active, outdoorsy gal who would LOVE a family who enjoys walks, hikes, or jogs. Josie is currently being fostered in Fairfield, CA. Want to meet this sweet, sassy little nugget? Fill out our adoption application at www.cabullyrescue.org! P.S. She’s also available for foster-to-adopt!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Josie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
