Mia

My story

Meet Mia, our miracle foster who was saved from euthanasia just in the nick of time. Mia is just over 1 year old and still has her puppy magic! She loves toys (any kind of toy) and will lay down on the carpet to chew chew chew. She loves going on calm walks where she has time to sniff everything. She is currently being leash trained and is a phenomenal listener on walks. Mia does need to be the only animal in the house. She is such a sweetie around people and is her best self when she’s the only pet around. Though it’s best she’s not in close contact with other dogs she is doing great with ignoring them on walks and focuses on her own sniffs instead. We believe Mia would be best in a home without children due to her jumps when excited. She is the perfect dog for a person or couple looking to add more love and joy into their home. She is a great guard dog and will walk up to you to alert when she hears someone at the door. She will truly be your best friend. She is almost all the way house trained - we currently have grass pads on our balcony and if the door is open she will go out on her own to use them. She does well with having access to outside! She is crate trained! She sleeps like a baby in there every night and will take naps in there if you have to leave for a few hours. Mia is filled with love and light and you will feel it as soon as you meet her! She is currently being fostered in Orange County, California.
