My story

Allow me to reintroduce myself! My name is Shelby, SHEL to the BY! ?? Hi there, I’m Shelby—the tennis ball queen, certified cuddlebug, and your future best friend! I’m packed with personality, full of kisses, and always ready for some fun. My favorite game in the entire world is fetch, and I’ll bounce after my tennis ball again and again until I’m ready to plop down beside you for a well deserved nap. Don’t worry, it doesn’t take me long to wear myself out!I’ve got a goofy, joyful spirit and a whole lot of love to give. I greet everyone with happy wiggles and have never met a person I didn’t want to smother with kisses. I do have a little secret though... sometimes I get mouthy when I want attention. I’m not trying to be naughty, I just get excited and don’t always know the best way to say “please notice me!” With a little patience and guidance, I’ll learn better ways to ask for love without being a rascal.Once I’ve had my playtime and zoomies, I settle right down and am more than happy to curl up for snuggles. I really do have a sweet and cuddly side. I just need a home that understands I’m still figuring things out.And yes, I do have the best name in the world just ask our Director who also happens to be named Shelby. For the record, I came to HSEC already named. No one is naming dogs after themselves… probably. But hey, with a name this awesome, why would anyone want to change it?
