My story

This gentle 8 year old man who has been through so much does not know how to receive love. Bobby who came to me with dead eyes and wounds that make your skin crawl is healing, he’s learned how to wag his tail and he even does a little excited skip for his favorite treats. (He gets way too many of them but he’s making yo for 8 years of a crap life) when I sit with him to give him love he stares at me and sniffs at me but doesn’t know how to snuggle or lick. He is very curious when he walks and and we are finally starting to see the puppy coming out in him on his walks, which is so amazing to see as I’m sure he never got a chance to be a puppy. He looks back at you as he walks, he wags his tail the whole way, he stops to sniff everything and stops to look at people and take it all in. He gets excited to chase birds or bunnies.
