I need a patient person who has the time to work on training with me.My #BoroughBreak Buddy Writes: Like he was shot out of a cannon, Mr. Kazoo gave us an enthusiastic, friendly, and warm greeting. We were so excited to take him out today, and he was just as thrilled! On our way to Central Park, we sniffed and marked almost every fire hydrant, taking in all the sights and smells of the city. Once we got to the park, we spent the day lounging and exploring.Mr. Kazoo is a total love bug who adores sunbathing. Like most pitties, we suspect he's solar-powered! He takes treats very gently with a soft mouth and loves to sit for pets while watching the world go by. We shared a park bench for about 45 minutes, with Mr. Kazoo sprawled across our laps, calmly observing passersby, bikers, other dogs, and even squirrels without a fuss.Though he weighs 67 pounds, Mr. Kazoo fully believes in the "if I fits, I sits" motto and happily identifies as a lap dog. He got plenty of compliments on his adorable ears, and we overheard people whispering, "He's so cute!" and "Aww, look at his ears."While on the leash, Mr. Kazoo can pull when he's excited, but it's no more than what we're used to with our dog at home. He knows how to sit on command, especially when treats are involved, and is happy to slow down for pets and affection. At the start of our Boroughbreak, he was ready to explore the world, but after about an hour, all he wanted to do was relax in the sun and soak up the love! He quickly became attached and loyal, leaning his full body weight into us while fighting to keep his eyes open. At one point, he even laid down and nearly drifted off to sleep.Mr. Kazoo enjoyed playing with the toys we brought along too. He reminds us so much of one of our dogs at home, and we absolutely adore him. If we could fit three dogs in our studio apartment, Mr. Kazoo-who we think should be named Fred-would definitely be coming home with us.As we left him back at the ACC, he peered through the fence as if to say, "Goodbye."
