My story

DOB February 5, 2023 When Comet first arrived, he was a bit shy and cautious, but with a little patience and love, he quickly warmed up. These days, he's a chatty companion—especially around mealtime—letting you know exactly when he’s ready for a snack. Comet is the ultimate cuddle buddy when you're sitting or lying on the floor. He’ll headbutt you lovingly and purr right in your ear, reminding you how affectionate he truly is. While he’s not too keen on being picked up for long stretches, he doesn’t mind a quick lift before hopping back down to continue exploring. This boy has a playful streak, too—especially when a laser pointer or small ball is involved. He’s surprisingly coordinated and will impress you with his “cat soccer” skills. You might even find yourself cheering him on! Comet has his quirks, like his favorite sleeping spot tucked into the legs of work pants—it’s his cozy little hideout. And due to a few missing teeth, he prefers to eat his kibble off the floor rather than from a bowl. But don’t worry—his appetite is strong, and he’ll happily follow you around the house to remind you it’s dinnertime. He’s got a bit of a dog-like personality in that way! Comet is currently on a fish-based diet due to a food sensitivity that can cause some baldness and itching behind his ears. With the right food and a calm environment, he thrives. Comet would do best in a peaceful home—whether with a single person, a couple, or a family with older kids. He’s ready to offer endless love, gentle companionship, and a few laughs along the way.
