My story

LOCATED IN CAMBRIDGE, ON at PetSmart Cambridge DOB: 5 Feb 2022 DHS buff tabby Microchipped Meet Furank Sinatra, Ol’ Blue-Green Eyes himself. "Frankie" is a tough guy with a heart of gold. Furank came to TCR from an overcrowded apartment. His past life was stressful and at times he forgets that he’s safe now. He needs time to get to know his humans, but once he feels safe he enjoys strokes and attention. A good way to earn his trust is to play with him: he loves a wand toy. Furank loves being with his buddy Elvis, and you often see them curled up together. Furank also enjoyed playing with the silly young cats in his foster home, and he was respectful of the grumpy older cats. Dogs, on the other hand, are a definite No for Furank: he does not like dogs and hissed at the resident senior beagle. Both Furank and Elvis are used to living with other cats. Furank eats kibble and canned with a good appetite, and always uses his litter box. He will counter-surf, so keep your kitchen tidy! The counter-surfing, like his wariness, is likely a learned behaviour from his time in a stressful environment. Hopefully those behaviours will ease as he feels more secure. Frankie has shown real courage in starting to trust his foster human. With each step he takes towards trust, he opens up a new aspect of his personality. The first strokes, the first purr: life with Frankie is a journey of firsts. Thank you for giving two best friends a loving home together! Our adoption fee for an adult bonded pair is $175 per cat, versus our standard fee of $225 per adult cat.
