My story

DOB: June 2nd 2024 Okay, I’ll be honest — I’m a shy girl. New people and places can be a little scary for me, so I like to take things slow. But once I start to feel safe, you’ll see my sweet side peek through. I’m calm, quiet, and I really just want a cozy spot to curl up in and someone gentle to love me for who I am. I feel most confident when there’s another friendly kitty around to show me everything’s okay — a cat buddy is a huge plus in my book! I might be shy, but I’ve got some silly secrets! I love trying to squeeze into the tiniest cardboard boxes —then jumping out in a game of hide and scare with the other cats in my house! I love taking turns to run and chase! And if I’m really feeling brave, I might give you human a gentle boop or even a playful love nibble when I’m excited — I’m still learning how to show affection without using my tiny teeth, okay? I was rescued along with some of my siblings. We were scared at first, but a patient foster home helped me start to come out of my shell. I’ve learned a lot by watching other cats — they’ve taught me how to play, relax, and trust again. Now, I’m ready for my forever home, but I’ll definitely need someone who understands shy cats and can be patient with me while I continue to grow. I’m looking for a calm, understanding human (or humans!) who won’t expect me to be a lap cat on day one. I do best in a quiet home and really hope you already have a friendly resident cat who can be my buddy. I’m still learning how to feel safe, so I might need a little space sometimes — but with time and love, I promise I'll shower you with countless headbutts and affectionate purrs.
