0686 Callie PKA Silly

My story

Callie is fostered in Secor, IL. Callie is a stunning black tri female Australian Shepherd. Callie is approximately 2 years old and weighs about 45-50 lbs.  She is a super sweet, but shy and timid girl who is still learning how to be a dog.   Callie was a former breeder dog, who was not well socialized in her former life.  For this reason, she is a little shy and timid.  This girl is learning how to live life like a pampered pooch.  She LOVES being outdoors and romping around in the yard with the resident dogs. Callie has great house manners and can be trusted to be left out in the home. She is house trained, crate trained and has also done marvelous at the groomer.   Given Callie's former life, she is learning a lot of new things, which includes some basic obedience commands and how to play with toys.  She does great with dogs, cats and children.  Callie's ideal home would include another social dog and a physically fenced yard.  Her current foster home has a doggie door that she learned quickly.  Callie will need a patient adopter who will continue her socialization work that she's doing in her foster home.   Callie is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and receiving monthly preventatives for fleas, ticks and heartworms.  Proof of heartworm preventatives for any current or prior pets is required to adopt from our rescue. She does require a committed adopter who is willing to provide mental and physical stimulation each day.   NOTE:  All of our dogs live in foster homes with volunteers so we need an approved application on file to set up a meet with a dog you might have an interest in.  Please visit our website for more information on our adoption process, our adoption fees and a link to our adoption application.  We pride ourselves on matches that work for both the dog and your family.  MASR is here for your support, advice and safety net for our dogs for the remainder of their lives.  www.MidwestAustralianShepherdRescue.org ##2185371##
