My story

Meet Kasha! Kasha was surrendered to Los Angeles Animal Care and Control's Lancaster Shelter by her owner for unknown reasons. We scooped her up to become a Frosted Face on March 14th. As just 55 lbs., Kasha is a perfect pocket pittie. And don't get us started on her adorable ears!!! Kasha is a very sweet, calm, and gentle girl. She loves people and is ready to cuddle within minutes of making a new friend. Like many senior dogs, Kasha's vision is limited, but she doesn't let it stop her! She has great leash manners, never pulls and always and stays close. Kasha enjoys the company of other mellow dogs, and as a quiet, well-mannered girl, she isn't reactive, not even when her Frosted Friends bark. Kasha is currently on a two-week Frosted Fling, so we can learn what she is like in a home. Check out this rave review! Her Fling Mom shares: "Kasha is so easy to care for that we’ve decided to extend her time with us. Are you considering taking Kasha home, and want to know if she’s a good fit for you? She’d be a great addition to your household if you: - want a very low key, easy dog. She spends most of her time wandering between dog beds and resting. - like a dog who enjoys your company, but is also independent. Kasha loves being near her person, but is also very happy being alone. - don’t want to worry about separation anxiety or accidents in the house. Kasha does great being left alone and is completely house trained! - want a quiet dog. I’ve never heard her bark and even her snoring is soft. - have calm pets or want her to be your only one. Kasha does fine with other dogs near her or in the same home, even if they’re barking. Since she’s visually impaired, she doesn’t like dogs suddenly coming up to her (especially her face). Proper intros are important for her to feel safe. - want a dog that does well with other people. Kasha is great with people! She’s been gentle and sweet with every person she’s met, including kids!"
