My story
We get many dogs here at the shelter that have had a rocky start to life. And for plenty of them, you can tell right away. Not with Sheila. When you meet her, you`ll have no idea she was ever down on her luck. Unbelievably loving, smart, cuddly and energetic, she is a Shelter Star. Honestly, we have no idea why she`s still here! She is a working breed, so make no mistake, she`s no slouch. But if you live an active, outdoorsy lifestyle and maybe have some hiking/running goals, you can have no better training partner than Sheila. She`ll also keep you company on the couch after you recover from your adventures. Come meet her today, you can even take her out for a `test drive` with our Dog for A Day foster program!
