My story

Our resident wiggly optimist Annie is always looking on the bright side of life! As a peppy one year old, Annie has her whole life ahead of her, and she can’t wait to meet the lucky person she will spend it with. We asked ten volunteers who know her well to describe Annie, and there was one thing every single person agreed on: she’s the sweetest! They phrased it in different ways, like, “a lovable snuggler,” “super affectionate,” “a wonderful companion,” and, “very good-natured.” The consensus? Annie is the kind of dog you always want to spend more time with. Annie’s list of loves is long: people, cookies, walks, hikes, soaking up the sunshine on a beautiful day. When it comes to other dogs, she’s a monogamous mutt and she would love to be your one-and-only. Annie is super bright and has been a quick learner when working with our trainers! She would love to keep working on her impressive smarts in her new home. Annie’s motto? The sun will come out tomorrow, but why not play in the rain today!
