My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:I lived with children in my previous home.I have lived with cats in my previous home.I have lived with dogs in my previous home.I'm an independent kitty who likes to do my own thing.I have been known to shower my favorite people in love!I am finding the shelter a little overwhelming, but when it's just you and me and some peace and quiet you'll see what a love bug I am.I am looking for a home with a patient person.I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.Scooby is not open to interaction at this time and does not currently tolerate petting or handling and is really struggling in the shelter environment. Because this cat previously lived in a home for some time with a mixed known history, we feel that this cat will do best in an experienced, home with adopters who are willing to work with a cat who needs time and patience to help him/her adjust to their new home. Even though his eliminating outside the litter box may have been due to being intact and with other cats and sharing one litter box the adopters should still be well counseled on this issue.
