My story

In Summerville :When Jinx came into foster care he was like a teenager that has never had a structured life. We have implemented the “Nothing In Life Is Free” training method and he has really started to settle down. He gets along well with my dog but his tough play style is not suited for dog park play. While he does enjoy dog play I can also see him being great in an only dog home because he is very much focused on his human. He is looking for an active home. He would make a great running or hiking partner. If you are looking for a dog sport companion Jinx fits the bill. He is young and energetic. He is on the tall side for an Aussie standing 24 inches at the shoulder and weighs 50 pounds. He is crate trained and house trained which should make for an easier adjustment to his forever home. Other than a bit of counter surfing he has great house manners. He is currently about 1 1/2 years old. Jinx’s gorgeous looks have attracted him a lot of attention but the perfect match for his energetic personality has not yet been found. He will need someone willing to continue his training so that he can become that awesome dog that is starting to emerge. He is located in Summerville, SC which is just outside of Charleston. If you think he is perfect for you , pleaes fill out our application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new furever family.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Jinx, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
