My story

Meet Teddy Rex! 🧸🦖 Teddy Rex is a 5-month-old mixed breed puppy. While he'll continue to grow to be a medium-sized dog, he's currently a peanut-sized 18lbs of fluff, sass, and pure affection. Teddy is equal parts cuddly teddy bear and adventurous T-Rex — affectionate, curious, and full of zest for life! Teddy is the kind of pup who will lead an expedition to find the best stick on the trail, then melt in your lap after. His enthusiasm for life is contagious — whether he’s trotting happily by your side, challenging you to a tug-of-war, or proudly collecting leaves and treasures on his walks. Teddy's dream day? A long walk finding sticks, a good romp with a dog buddy, then curling up next to (or on) his person for a restful nap. When meeting new friends (human or canine), Teddy is a thoughtful little guy — he likes a slow approach. Once he’s decided you’re part of his crew, you’re in for endless tail wags, kisses, and loyal companionship. In familiar environments, Teddy is independent, confident, and always curious. Teddy currently lives with two dog friends in his Foster home — he loves playing and socializing with other dogs! He looks to them for a confidence boost and learns from them, even mirroring their behaviors. Because of this, Teddy would thrive in a home with another playful dog to show him the ropes and share in the fun. Teddy is a quick learner - He is making great progress with housetraining, comfortable crated (with enrichment, always), walks confidently on leash, and is so gentle when it comes to treats (his true love). Teddy would thrive in a home with another playful dog and an adopter who loves outdoor adventures as much as he does.
