My story

*** Mister is in a foster home. ***Mister #19074: gray tabby, short hair, neutered male, born approx. 4/30/18Cats: comfortable, good soloDogs: possiblyChildren: gentle older kids BACKGROUND: Mister was originally taken in off the streets of Tijuana; he was torn up from fighting and was sick on top of being in sorry shape. His rescuer got him treatment and tried to find the sweetie a home but was having no luck; she eventually asked if he could transfer to our care. Mister developed stomatitis mouth issues that resulted in all of his teeth being removed and a medication to manage inflammation; he will need to stay on his medicine, but with his hearty appetite it is very easy to put in his food and he’ll gobble it up. He’s healthy and ready for love!PERSONALITY: Food and petting are Mister’s favorite things in life! He’s a lover, not a fighter, despite the scars on his ears from his early days. He is extremely affectionate and just wants to be around people and get attention (head, neck, chin, and cheek scritches, please!). He’ll lie on your lap as much as you want him to and absolutely loves it when you bring out the brush for his daily grooming… he’s decided humans do a much better job than he can plus bonding time bliss with his person (warning, he may drool when he’s really happy). Mister is still energetic and will run from room to room when he has the zoomies, and a wand toy with a mouse on the end will get him leaping in the air to grab it. One of Mister’s silly-cute favorite things is to have you rub your feet on him -- he’ll flop down in a ready position and then flip over and over so you can get your toes in all the places he likes!COMPATIBILITY: Mister is comfortable with other non-aggressive cats if he is given an intro, and he did well meeting a couple of kittens (though found a litter of four younglings to be a bit much). He has not been around dogs for some time, but met a small Chihuahua with his rescuer. Gentle older kids who will play and pet him nicely would probably be fine. Mister doesn’t like being left alone for long, and even if he’s not in your lap then he prefers to be in the same room as you... and he won’t hesitate to tell you as much!Mister will always make sure you know how much he appreciates your company. This sweet and silly boy has been waiting a long time to find his soulmate… will he find that with you? While healthy, Mister has tested positive fo
