My story

Age: 5.5 Months Old Gender: Male Breed: Lab mix Weight: 24 lbs Personality: Teefers is a playful and curious pup who loves to be right by your side. He’s a big snuggler who melts for ear scratches, even cooing like a baby when he gets them! Due to his early months on the streets, he can be a little timid when meeting new dogs or people, but with a slow introduction (and a few treats), he warms up quickly. He has no signs of food or toy aggression and is learning that his crate is a safe and cozy spot—though he might complain for a few minutes before settling in. Teefers is incredibly smart and picks up on routines fast. He’s full of spunk and positive energy, always ready for an adventure, whether it's exploring on walks, taking in new smells, or just cuddling up with his favorite humans. He has such a fun-loving personality and adorable little mohawk, he’s sure to bring a smile to everyone he meets! Education: Working on leash, crate and potty training. Will need puppy lessons. Favorite Activities: Toys, food, walks, snuggles, repeat! He loves stuffed toys and has just recently learned how to play tug o war with his foster friends. He is very food motivated and food is probably his favorite topic of all which makes for great training sessions! Looking for: Teefers would do best in a home with someone who understands his shy but loving nature and is willing to continue building his confidence. While he hasn’t been around cats or kids yet, he has done well meeting new dogs and people with a little patience and reassurance. As an active puppy, he’ll need a home that can provide plenty of exercise and playtime to keep him happy and engaged. He’s making great progress with crate training and is learning to be comfortable spending some time alone, but he truly thrives when he’s by his person’s side. A home that can offer love, guidance, and plenty of adventures will be the perfect fit for this special little guy! Special needs: He has class 2 malocclusion.
