Yogi

My story

Before calling about this dog, please read our adoption requirements at http://gsrne.org/requirements-for-adopting-from-gsrne Yogi is a fun loving dog that enjoys one on one interaction.  Since arriving in his foster home his playful side is emerging and he likes balls, tug and stuffys that squeek.  He's very affectionate once he warms up.  Yogi absolutely loves car rides, and is great in the car.  We are seeing that he is not a fan of small children, because he's unsure about  their quick movements at this time, but his exposure to them has been very limited. He is adapting to a lot of stimulus daily, and is an over all happy boy.  He did not have much exposure in his life so, we feel Yogi will would need a human that understands how to expose things slowly to him.  Initially, going for walks was a very scary thing for Yogi, but now he loves his daily 1/2 mile walks with his foster mom. In the short 16 days she has been working with him,  he has changed immensely.  This affectionate boy is looking for someone with the patience and understanding to continue along this path.
