My story

Hi! I`m Kane!I`m a sweet and gentle senior dog who loves nothing more than curling up beside my favorite human for a cozy nap. Even though I`m a bit older now, I still enjoy leisurely walks and exploring the outdoors at my own pace. I like to think I`m the perfect companion—loyal, affectionate, and always up for a good snuggle in a peaceful home.I tend to be friendly and pretty laid-back around strangers, and I do well with babies, keeping calm and gentle around them. When I see birds or squirrels, I get pretty excited, although nothing too overwhelming happens. I admit that around big dogs, I sometimes feel a bit fearful and might bark more than I should, but I`m much more relaxed when I`m with smaller dogs.Crating is still a work in progress for me, but I take treats in a friendly and easy manner. At mealtime, I`m always excited and friendly, and on walks, I stay relaxed and happy—making me the perfect strolling buddy for my human.Adoption fee: $50Kane is part of our Home to Home Program. Although they are not a Pawmetto Lifeline dog, they have received the same high standards of care. Vaccinations and spay/neuter are included in the adoption fee.
