My story

*** LOOKING FOR A VERY SPECIAL ADOPTER *** Hi! It's me, Denver. I am a very special boy. You see, I have been having some seizures. Just Paws, with the help of the many generous donations was able to pay for an MRI for me and I was diagnosed with epilepsy. I've been working to get my medications right so I'm looking for a very special adopter who is willing to take on my condition and give me all the love and care I deserve. Now that we’ve got that out of the way, let me tell you what makes me an AMAZING pup. I am fully housetrained and will run to the back door whenever I need to do my business. I'm actually pretty clever, if I say so myself!   I am crate trained and sleep soundly all night. I won't wake up until you do! I don't need to be crated but I do not mind it. I have free reign of the house because I don't get into mischief. When my foster family goes out, I tend to look out the window until they come home. I'm such a good boy! I do get the zoomies from time to time so I'm not always my chill self, but that's when I show my fun side! I get short bursts of zoomies and I can jump quite high, as my foster mom thinks I must have some Jack Russell in me. I may nip your clothes because I think it's fun but I'm learning that that's not how we show affection! I'm great with other dogs so I would be fine with a fur sibling, but I would also be fine as the only fur baby in your life. But most of all I'm the biggest cuddle bug. My foster family loves it because I just want to lie as close to them as possible! I'll even fall asleep in your arms! Epilepsy is a manageable condition and I'm only 3 years old so I have lots of life still in me. My medication will cost less than a cup of coffee per day but Just Paws has also reduced my adoption fee to $500. In return I promise I'll be a happy addition to your home if you are willing to take a chance on me! Adopt me today! Denver is being fostered in Richmond Hill. ••••••••• As my foster family gets to know me my profile can change and will be updated accordingly. Check back often for details! An application for me can be found at www.justpaws.ca. Just Paws is located in the Greater Toronto Area of Ontario, Canada. We do not adopt out of province or country. Please note that although many of our dogs get along with children, we are not able to adopt to any household with kids under the age of 8 years old. This is a stipulation of our insurance and is not a reflection on suitability of the potential adopter.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt DENVER, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
