My story

Yankee’s looking for a fresh start. His owner is moving to breed-restricted housing, and while his dog sibling has found a new place, Yankee still needs a home. This handsome, playful dog is housebroken, crate trained, and sleeps soundly in bed with his person. He knows all the basics—Sit, Down, Come, Stay—and even some fun tricks like High Five and Turn. He’s great with other dogs and loves squishy, squeaky toys and all kinds of treats.Yankee does get a little anxious during storms or when left alone, and he needs a home without cats. Around new people, he can be shy at first, but once he warms up, he’s affectionate and fun.Yankee is ready to be someone’s loyal sidekick. He just needs a chance. Could it be with you?

If you have any questions or would like to adopt YANKEE, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
