How this pet arrived: Wuero was transferred from Pasadena Humane Society on February 14, 2025.Why this pet is the one for you:Say hello to Wuero! This traveler made his way from Pasadena Humane Society, hoping to find a place to settle down with someone who is patient and willing to give him the time he needs. New faces and unfamiliar places can be overwhelming, so he'll need an adopter who can provide a calm, structured environment where he can adjust at his own pace. Wuero has displayed fearful behavior with new people and situations, often tucking his tail, avoiding interaction, or becoming hypervigilant. His new family should keep his world small at first, allowing him to choose when to interact and avoiding any forced handling. Once comfortable, Wuero's personality shines-but he can also become quite aroused, frequently jumping up and nipping at people. Because of this, he would do best in a home without young children. It's important to only pet him when all four paws are on the floor to reinforce calm behavior. If he gets too excited, redirection or ignoring unwanted behavior is the best approach. With a patient and understanding adopter, Wuero has the potential to gain confidence and thrive.
