My story

🐾 Look no further, magnificent Marla is here! 🐾 Hi there, I’m an eye-catching female German Shepherd mix, weighing about 44 lbs. When you first meet me, you’ll notice my black and cream coat which brings out my magical bright blue eyes. Try not to get lost in them because I’m told they can make anyone fall in love with me.💘 Although I’m approximately only one year old, my volunteer pals have referred to me as an “old soul”. I have a very calming presence, but I also have a playful side. I guess you can say I’m a triple threat— I’ve got the looks, brains, and personality that will leave you in awe! One of my most favorite things I look forward to is getting to enjoy some fresh air with a volunteer pal. Since I walk well on leash, I know my volunteer buddy enjoys the walks too. 💖 Once we’re in the yard I love playing with squeaky stuffies and balls. I don’t have a favorite but the fluffier the better! 😉 I enjoy playing alone but will invite my volunteer pal to play along too. I love learning and training with tasty treats too — I love ’em all. I can “sit,” go “down,” and have shown how great my listening skills are. I know with consistency and patience I will continue to learn more and more everyday! Last but certainly not least, I LOVE getting loved on with back rubs, head rubs, and belly rubs! I’ll come right up to you and flash my bright blue eyes to say ‘’pwetty pweaaaaase, can I have some more pets?’’🥰 There are certain dogs I love to run the fence line with and others I would rather keep my distance from. So, if my future home has another dog, please bring them along for a supervised, on-leash meet-and-greet to see if we’re comfortable with one another. So what do you say? Are you looking for a sweet companion who will be by your side to decompress with after a long day? Perhaps, a pawsome sidekick to enjoy walks and fresh air with? She hasn't been reclaimed by her previous person, so she's now looking for a new home. Her adoption fee is $35, plus licensing (if applicable).
