My story

**Meet Elsa Saturday, March 22nd from 11 to 1 at Dublin Petsmart west, 6960 Amador Plaza Rd.** ELSA is a 52 pound pointer mix with one of the sweetest faces you’ll ever meet. ELSA’s demeanor, like her namesake, has thawed considerably since her arrival at the shelter. It did take a while to get her used to getting on leash, but now she enjoys her walks, doesn’t pull and she should make a great exercise partner to help you get your daily steps in. At the shelter, the Pointer in her was fascinated by the birds coming to the feeders outside the yard she visited. Now in foster care, ELSA’s tail is always wagging to greet her foster family. She gets along with her 67 pound lab bud and her 10 pound chi bud and has expressed a willingness to play with them. Relationship with cats has not been established, but she hasn’t gone squirrel bonkers on her walks. She is still hesitant to get into a vehicle, but we’re working on that. Once she’s in the car, she rides fine. At the shelter, ELSA was given recommended canine vaccines, including Rabies vaccine needed to license her, and deworming treatment. TVAR has provided flea treatment and has arranged for her to be spayed and micro-chipped at the vet. ELSA is ready to leave her fur-now foster home and go on to her fur-ever home. Is it yours?
