My story

As her name suggests, little beauty Azula boasts a shiny blue-black coat. The smattering of white on her chest only emphasizes her melt-your heart brown eyes, and a moment with her reveals her heart of gold! This colorful gal has a rainbow of amazing qualities that she hopes to share with you! Volunteers rave about Azula, sharing:“Azula met me at the kennel door, friendly, and eager to get out. She was easy to leash up and very excited at the start of the walk. She settled into a nice walking rhythm. She definitely knows her “sit.” On her first try, she got her “down” most of the way. She’s a hugger if given the option. She loves to get attention. She loves to have her ear scratched. When walking with her she’s very curious about the world; she looks around at everything. She plays well with her kennelmate. He’s quite a bit bigger than her, but that doesn’t intimidate her. She’s the perfect size; easy to be around, easy to walk with. A true winner in all forms of the word.”“Azula is a very sweet and affectionate young lady. Reading her previous notes, she has gained so much confidence! She was very easy to leash and walked well to the yard. She knows how to sit and takes treats (which she loves) with a gentle mouth. She had a beautiful play session with her kennelmate. Azula answers to her name and is just full of energy with a ton of love to give.”In her former home Azula unfortunately spent most of her time outdoors, so she’s looking forward to the indoor life that every dog deserves. She shares her kennel politely and has been independent when meeting other dogs in playgroup.We’re sure that whoever adopts this dazzling girl will make other people green with envy!
