My story

Hi, I`m Sammy! I`m a laid-back, couch potato type of cat who loves to relax. You’ll often find me stretched out on a cozy blanket, enjoying my downtime. Lately, I`ve also discovered a favorite perch high up on top of cabinets—it`s my little slice of paradise where I can keep an eye on things!I can be a bit shy and timid when I meet new people, and it takes me a little while to warm up to you. I might even ignore you at first! But once I’m comfortable, I’ll be the sweetest, most chill cat. I’ve lived with another cat before, and it went well, so I think I could get along with other animals—though I`m not sure how I`d react to them now.Food is one of my absolute favorites—if there’s food around, I’m all in! And while I’m not really a lap cat, I do love to be close to you, especially if there’s a blanket involved. I’ll sit right next to you to steal some of your cozy blanket space. I’m a bit quirky—sometimes I forget I like being petted and get scared of your hand, but once I realize it’s a good thing, I’ll nudge you to keep going. I also have a really cute, hoarse meow that I use when I want to get your attention!I’m not a fan of being carried, but I do enjoy a good petting session once I feel safe and comfortable. I’m an anxious guy at times, but when I’ve settled in, I’m calm and pretty easygoing.My perfect family would be one that understands I need space to nap and relax, but also knows how to give me the attention I crave. Patience is key—I need time to warm up and show you who I really am. If you’re willing to let me take my time, I’ll be a great roommate and companion.
