My story

Hi, I`m Kali! I`m a sweet and loving older girl with a good mix of energy and chill. I enjoy short walks (those little legs need a break!), but I’m definitely more about the cozy moments. My favorite thing is to curl up in bed and snuggle or sleep next to you—I`m always so happy to be with my people! I also love to chew on door stoppers, so a few toys around will keep me out of mischief. I can be a little shy at first, especially with new people or loud kiddos under 10, but once I warm up, I’m all about those kisses and cuddles. I’m super affectionate and love being pet; I might even seek it out if you’re not giving me enough attention. I had a bit of a nervous start with my German shepherd friend, but we eventually became good pals.Because I’m an older girl, I need lots of bathroom breaks, so I’d do best with a family who’s around to help me out. An older couple, perhaps retired, would be my perfect match. I’m not a fan of young children, though—they make me run for cover with my tail between my legs. But if you’re looking for a sweet, low-key companion who loves to give love, I’m your girl!
