He can be a little nervous when meeting new people, especially men, but he tends to warm up quickly to women and is making progress every day with his confidence. Nico is working on his “stranger danger” leash reactivity, so he’ll thrive with someone patient and experienced who can guide him through positive reinforcement. The good news? He’s super food motivated and loves to learn—training time is bonding time for him! Due to his cautious nature, Nico would do best in a home with older, dog-savvy kids who understand his need for space and gentle introductions.
