My story

*This is a courtesy listing.* Meet Harry! Harry is a sweet senior shepherd looking for a loving home where he can spend his golden years in comfort. Harry is a kind-hearted, easygoing gentleman who deserves a soft landing at the end of his life. Might it be with you? Harry was adopted years ago from the Riverside Animal Shelter and has been a loyal companion, though his current situation isn't ideal. Following his mom's move across the country, Harry is currently living in a home with another family member. There are two younger dogs in the home who knock Harry over. He is a gentle soul who loves food and just needs a calm, caring environment. Harry is gets along well with other dogs, and he ignores cats. He spends most of his time sleeping or resting, especially when left alone. Harry is currently on medication for arthritis in his hips but would still enjoy going on a leisurely stroll to sniff and be outdoors. He is house-trained and knows how to use a doggie door. If you have a soft spot in your heart for a senior dog who only asks for a soft bed to rest in, good food, and gentle pets, please consider fostering or adopting Harry. His guardian is willing to cover monthly expenses for food and his arthritis medication.
