Stan

My story

I’m Stan, a young, energetic beagle who has just retired from a program where I helped train veterinary technicians. I have lots of energy, so I love long walks and playing with all my toys at once. I especially love rope toys and my Kong, which is filled with peanut butter. When I’m not on the go, I settle down and love to snuggle up somewhere cozy. Stan is good with other dogs and cats, is learning how to walk on a leash, and knows some basic commands, like sit. He’s good in his crate when he’s left during the day and sleeps in it overnight. He’s still getting used to the hustle and bustle of the city, and loud noises can startle him, but he’s adjusting well. If you’re looking for a sweet, high-energy new friend, Stan is your man!
