My story

Meet Beans – Looking for His Forever Lap! Beans is a two-year-old snugglebug who lives for lap time. If you sit down, Beans will be right there—purring, cuddling, and acting deeply offended if you dare to get up. He’s also a world-class napper (think 12 a day), an avid catnip enthusiast, and carries his favorite fish toy around like a proud hunter. Currently in a foster home with multiple humans and no other pets, Beans is thriving. He’s calm, social, and affectionate, and he seems happiest as the only cat in the house, soaking up all the attention. He’s been gradually weaned off Gabapentin, a temporary medication that helped ease his early stress. Beans has come a long way from his rough beginnings. Like many abandoned cats, he likely experienced trauma and lacked early socialization. As a result, he can sometimes get overstimulated and may swat or nip when scared. But these moments have been fewer and farther between—and now his foster reports zero bites, zero hisses, and zero scratches! With time, patience, and a calm environment, Beans has turned into a loving companion. Beans is ready to find his special human(s) who will let him continue to grow and feel safe. If you have a home with no other cats, a warm lap, and an open heart, Beans may be your perfect match. Beans is approximately 2 years old, neutered, up-to-date on all his shots and negative for both FIV & FeLV. If you are interested in meeting him, contact Boston's Forgotten Felines on Facebook or at catadoptions@bostonsforgottenfelines.org

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Beans, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
