My story

Quick Facts Name: Winkle  Birthday: 4 years old   Gender: Male Neutered/Sprayed: Yes Breed: Mini Jindo Mix  Color: Black  Weight: 8kg    All About Me Winkle is a 4-year-old male Mini Jindo mix, weighing 8kg. He has been neutered and is up-to-date with all his vaccinations. He was found abandoned and injured near the Masan city pound, where he was at risk of euthanasia before being rescued. After completing heartworm treatment in 2024, he is now healthy and ready to find his forever home.   Personality and Social Skills Winkle is a friendly and affectionate dog who quickly warms up to new people. He enjoys attention, happily leans in for pets, and can be picked up without issue. He will even show his belly to strangers, demonstrating his trust and ease around people. While he has not had experience with young children, he adapts quickly and is likely to do well with gentle introductions. He is also social with other dogs and enjoys meeting and playing with them. His behavior around cats is unknown, as he has not been tested.   Energy and Activities Winkle has a moderate energy level. He enjoys outdoor activities but settles down calmly after exercise. He loves going on walks and is well-mannered on a leash, following his handler without excessive pulling.   Training and Habits Winkle is well-behaved in various settings. He is not possessive over food and does not guard meals from people or other dogs. He has experience with both indoor and outdoor potty training, making him adaptable to different living environments. He is also comfortable in a kennel and remains calm when inside. Winkle can be vocal when he wants something and may bark to express his needs. However, he is generally a well-adjusted and manageable companion.   Ideal Home Winkle would do well in a home where he receives love, structure, and regular exercise. He has experience living with people and is naturally affectionate, making him an excellent companion. He enjoys walks, playtime, and human interaction. His future family should be prepared to support his continued socialization and confidence-building.   Special Notes Winkle is highly adaptable and quickly adjusts to new environments. He loves people and enjoys affection. While he is confident in most situations, he may become startled by unexpected events, so patience and reassurance will help him thrive. Winkle is looking for a loving home where he can continue to enjoy companionship, exercise, and affection. If you are looking for a friendly and devoted dog, he may be the perfect match for you.   Good with Other DogsYes! Winkle is friendly with other dogs and enjoys meeting new friends during his daily walks. He doesn’t guard his food. Good with KidsYes! Winkle is gentle and kind to little kids. He has met some young children in the building and has always been calm around them. House-trainedWinkle prefers to go potty outside at a park across the street from his building. Although he has an indoor potty area on the balcony, he prefers the outdoors and will let you know when he wants to go out. Energy LevelWinkle has a moderate energy level. He occasionally gets the zoomies at night, but after playing, he relaxes. He’s a great walker and can handle longer walks. He enjoys walking up to 3 km and often wants to keep going! Leash TrainedYes! Winkle is well-trained on a leash. He doesn’t pull much and is responsive to commands. BarkingIn the 3 weeks he’s been with us, Winkle has only barked twice, and both times were in a playful manner.   For More YouTube Clips, Click Here! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kw-XQ7iky3k&list=PLIsLTtIpe3JyW-LJxeX1n_D0JqpN34fD9 ##2304831##
