My story

Quick Facts Name: Tiana  Age: 1.5 years old (born August 2023)  Gender: Female  Neutered/Spayed: Yes Breed: Mixed Breed  Color: Black  Weight: 6kg    All About MeHi, I’m Tiana. I’m a 1.5-year-old mix breed girl with a sleek black coat and a gentle soul. I weigh just 6kg (13lb), and I move with a quiet grace—even though I was born with a congenital deformity in my front right leg. It doesn’t stop me from enjoying life, though! My journey hasn’t been easy. I waited in the city shelter longer than anyone else. Maybe it was my leg, maybe it was my quiet nature—but just when my time was almost up, someone finally came for me. I’ve been learning to trust again ever since.   My PersonalityI’m a calm, observant pup who takes her time warming up. I might shy away at first, especially around men or in unfamiliar places. But if you give me a little space and offer a treat, I’ll come closer, and soon I’ll be resting my head in your hand. I may not always ask for attention, but I definitely enjoy affection once I feel safe.   Social SkillsWith dogs, I’m pretty reserved. I don’t seek out play, and I prefer to observe from a distance. If another dog tries to start something, I’ll just quietly walk away—I’m not into drama. I like peace and calm. I haven’t had any exposure to cats or children, but I’ve shown I prefer calm, soft interactions in general.   Energy and ActivitiesI have a moderate energy level. I like being outside and sniffing around, but I’m not bouncing off the walls. I’m still new to walking on a leash, and when I hear loud sounds or see something unfamiliar, I sometimes flatten myself to the ground out of fear. I’m getting better, though—and I’d love someone patient to keep helping me grow.   Training and HabitsI’m very clean and use both indoor pads and outdoor potty spaces. I don’t bark much unless I get startled by strangers. And while I can be picked up and carried, I’d appreciate a gentle approach—especially from new people. I also do well when resting in a kennel; it’s my safe little den when I need quiet.   My Ideal HomeI’m looking for a calm, gentle home where I’ll be given time to bloom. Someone who understands that love doesn’t have to be loud. I don’t need a busy household—just a person or family who will let me take things slow and show me that I’m finally safe, loved, and wanted. If you’re the kind of person who finds beauty in the quiet ones, I’ll be the loyal shadow by your side.   For More YouTube Clips, Click Here!Tiana's YouTube Playlist ##2363995##
