My story

Meet Paulette a 6 y/o American Staffie mix who arrived at ACS in February after the devastating fires in California earlier this year. Paulette is a homebody and prefers to be with her people more than anything else in the world. Paulette would thrive in a home where someone is around most of l the time—she suffers from separation anxiety, so she’s looking for a human who can give her the time, patience, and presence she deserves. Whether you work from home, are retired, or just love the idea of a constant companion, Paulette could be your perfect match. A structured routine suits Paulette best with plenty of snuggle time and bathroom breaks! Paulette also enjoys riding in cars, so she won’t mind tagging along if you’re going out to buy treats and things! Paulette is the definition of a gentle soul. She’s wonderful with people of all ages and does great with calm, respectful dogs. However, no cats, please—she prefers to keep felines at a distance!
