My story

Hi, I'm Percy!I'm a Great Pyrenees, and as you might know, we're known for being big, strong, and majestic-kind of like mountain royalty, but with a heart full of love. I'm just 1 year old, so I've still got lots of life ahead of me to grow into the best companion I can be!I haven't had the easiest start in life, but I'm learning every day that the world isn't so bad. I've spent a lot of time outside, and while I've gotten used to the freedom, I'm starting to discover how nice it is to be inside, curled up on a warm, soft bed. I wasn't always the fluffiest guy around-I had some pretty gnarly mats that needed attention-but I'm looking forward to showing off my beautiful, thick coat once it grows back in.I'm a bit of a slow learner when it comes to humans. I haven't had much time around people, so I may be a little shy and unsure at first. I'm not going to jump straight into your lap and give you a cuddle right away (sorry about that), but I promise with patience, love, and a little bit of time, I'll be your loyal buddy. I might just need some help building up trust first. But hey, you know what they say about us Pyrs, right? We make wonderful family dogs, and once I trust you, you'll see the loving side of me that's been waiting to shine.One thing I do know for sure is that I love other dogs! The nice folks here feel strongly that I will need someone to show me the ropes and help me feel more comfortable as I adjust to my new life.It's going to take some time, but I'm ready for this next chapter, and I hope you'll be the one to guide me through it. If you're patient, kind, and have a big heart, I'll make a great addition to your family. I might be a little reserved at first, but I'm learning, growing, and I promise-if you give me the chance-I'll love you like no other.Let's start this journey together.
