My story

Loyal. Lovey. Lap-obsessed. Waffle Ball is the ultimate companion cat. She’s got that sleek Russian Blue look and a serious talent for snuggling. If you’re sitting down, she’s in your lap—no questions asked. She’s all about pets, scritches (especially around the neck), and a good brushing session. Basically, if it involves attention, she’s here for it. She’s also a cat who knows what she likes—top of the list? Bonkers "Purr Pops" in chicken flavor from HEB. If you’re stocked up on those, she’ll be extra smitten. Loyal, affectionate, and always close by, Waffle is looking for a human who wants a full-time cuddle buddy. Waffle Ball has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Waffle Ball can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about Waffle Ball's care.
