My story

Are you looking for the joy and playfulness of a young dog, but the manners and affection of a mature dog? This is your guy. Cricket is a giant ball of fun! He is smart, goofy, and athletic. He is both potty trained and crate trained. He is so well behaved in our house, that we no longer crate him when we leave him. He is high energy and loves getting the zoomies around the backyard, playing fetch, and throwing his toys up in the air, before batting them around. Though he is high energy in the yard, he walks very well on his leash with a harness. After he is exercised, he is a cuddle bug. He is VERY obsessed with people and wants to be as close to you as you will allow at all times. He will happily crawl in your lap and give you kisses, or lay to be pet until your hands are tired. He is so soft and fluffy, you will struggle to say no to his insistent requests to be pet.Cricket was living in an apartment before coming into foster, and that was very stressful for him. His ideal home would be a stand alone house, where he is not anxious from the mystery noises of the neighbors. He would also love a fenced in yard, so he could run out his energy before coming in to lay in your lap and watch TV with you. Every day is the best day for Cricket. He is the happiest, and most bubbly dog. He has the best head tilts, and the cutest smile. There is no telling him he is too big for your lap. He fits, just ask him.He is highly treat motivated, and already has mastered sit and stay. He loves toys, kongs, and bones, so it is not hard to keep him entertained. He lives with both a male and female dog, and gets along with each of them. We have had several dogs come over for play dates and he gets along with everyone, mirroring whatever playstyle he sees. He gives the cutest play bows! Cricket is already neutered and up to date on all his shots. If you think Cricket could be a good fit for you or your family, please email his foster mom at hickeym08@gmail.com to get more information or schedule a time to meet him. Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Brindle- Brown Weight: 71 Age: 7yrs 2mths 3wks

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Cricket, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
