My story

Meet Jasper! This energetic and affectionate 2-year-old boy weighs in at 52 lbs and is ready to find a home where he can play, bond, and thrive. Jasper is a medium to high-energy dog who loves to stay active, especially when it comes to playing fetch! He’ll happily chase after a ball and bring it back for another round of fun. Despite his energetic personality, Jasper is excellent on a leash, making walks and outdoor adventures a breeze. He’s very attentive to his human and loves to shower them with affection. Whether it’s snuggling up after playtime or simply being by your side, Jasper is a loving and loyal companion. Jasper knows how to sit and is treat motivated, taking them gently from your hand. His eagerness to please and affectionate nature make him a wonderful fit for an active family or individual who is looking for a fun, loving companion. If you’re looking for a dog who will keep you on your toes with games of fetch and give you plenty of cuddles, Jasper might be the perfect match for you! As always, we strongly recommend bringing any resident dogs to the shelter for a meet and greet with potential new family members to be sure it's a good match.
