My story

A volunteer writes:The cutest Tuxedo gal with a giant white polka dot on her chinychinchin is waiting for you at the Manhattan Care Center. Janet Catson is a shy two year old gal who for now likes to stay in her cubby, comfortably resting amidst soft blankets. She gently and calmly welcomes me, leans her head against my hand, closes her eyes with sweet words and slowly gets into her pet's mode(see video)...Yes, Janet Catson(this is not her real name) was a pet just yesterday, likely well cared for and may be loved but she was left behind when her family moved...It must have been quite a shock and we do understand why she acts timidly at the care center. Janet Catson is a good kitty, though and we are confident that she will make a lovely four legged friend for many years to come.
