My story

Hi, my name is Jack! I came from Alabama. I sure do like Minnesota and the people here. I’m a bit shy and take a little time to warm up. I am a great boy, potty trained, and don’t mind being in the kennel. I like chew toys, don’t mind other dogs and cats. I could use another dog to live with that can show me some confidence. I have low energy and am generally quiet. I’ll want to be with you as much as possible. I’m going to be your buddy and with you all the time. Hope to see you soon!!Jack is heartworm positive and has completed his treatment. He is awaiting a negative test result which can take place 9 months after treatment, in June, per our vets recommendations. He is no longer needing to be on exercise restrictions. Jack will also need continued use of monthly heartworm preventives going forward. These medical needs will be the responsibility of the adopter.--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions.
